The Superchromic history
After working for over a decade at Transitions Optical focusing on product development and marketing, I decided to establish Superchromic in 2012 to exclusively developing photochromic products.
Our aim is to offer independent labs a competitively priced and high performance photochromic lens allowing them to offer more choice to stores and patients.
We offer an affordable branded photochromic lens that can help re-connect single vision wearers and price conscious varifocal wearers with the benefits of photochromic lenses.
Our factory is located in Danyang, China and our logistics centre in Salisbury, Wiltshire UK.
The factory now produces spin coated photochromic lenses in 1.50, 1,60, 1.67, 1.74 and polycarbonate. We also continue to offer Superchromic Essential lenses in 1.56 index.
